Dust is great insulation. When the fans and heat sinks inside your laptop get dusty and dirty the CPU (Central Processing Unit) will over heat and slow down to cool itself off. If it gets too hot it will shut down the computer to keep itself from burning out, if it over heats too many times it can do permanent damage and destroy your laptop. Unlike a desktop computer a laptop takes a lot more skill and knowledge to disassemble.

Keyboards on a laptop generally don't wear out, but they do get dirty and sticky. We will completely disassemble your keyboard and clean it.

With DVD, and CD ROM drives, the optical device gets dirty and stops reading and you get errors when you put a disk in it. a good cleaning will take care of this problem.

At Tarpon Springs Computers we will completely disassemble your laptop and clean it for you so your laptop can breath once again.

A PC does require the same cleaning, it is a bit easier to disassemble, however if you are not comfortable taking apart your desktop and cleaning it yourself we will be more then happy to do it for you.
